The beauty of an old city

It is amazing were you see beauty.  You just need to slow down and and open your eyes it is all around.  I know slowing down, alot easier said than done.  These some of the amazing shots that we got around St. Augustine.  The biggest one is this amazing water wheel.  So cool seeing all of the moss growing on it as well as the stones in front.  Then starting at the top and working my way down. First one is the gate to entering the old city.  So beautiful.  Right below that is a lovely little park that I would love to sit on a bench and read.  So peaceful with the fountain in the middle.  Next up was the amazing flowers all over the city.  Right next to that was the amazing water front, so many neat boats all over the place.  Finally was a shot of the fort.

Hope you enjoyed these photos.  I will try to keep posting soon.  Also if you ever get the chance to go to St. Sugustine Fl ( I really hope that you do) make sure you take your camera.  You will thank me for that advice.

After the rain

Wow it has been awhile since I have posted anything here.  We are still taking photos all the time though.  Even Gabe has started in on taking pictures with us.  This picture was actually taken by me on our recent trip to St. Augustine.  It rained every afternoon that we were there.  One day when it stopped I went out to take some pictures.  I feel in love with this shot.  The colors were amazing and I loved seeing the water drops.
I am going to try and put up some of my favorite shots from there to share.  St. Augustine truley is a beautiful place.

A Mystery shot...

Sam took this photo awhile ago and I absolutley love it.  When you look at it don't you feel like you are looking at a beach or some sort of body of water.  No water what so ever in this picture. You want to know what it is, a parking lot.  Yup the Red Lobster parking lot to be percise.  Pretty tricky with that photography he is.

Project Noah

I wanted to share with everyone one of Sam's favorite sites. He loves this site and can not wait to get out and take pictures to post on there.  He loves it so much that he wanted me to make sure to share it with everyone.
When you go to the site Project Noah gives a description of what they are.  It says that "Project Noah is a tool to explore and document wildlife and a platform to harness the power of citizen scientists everywhere."
For a homeschooling I find it a good site to learn about different plants and wildlife around the world.  So make sure to check it out, here is the link to the site.  http://www.projectnoah.org/
